Zirconia or ZRO2  is a ceramic material that is incredibly strong, it is twice as strong as a porcelain fused to metal crown and 5 times stronger than any other dental material.

It also offers excellent aesthetics. The translucency that the material allows due to its molecular composition reflects the light in much the same way as natural teeth.  The material is fully biocompatiable with no risk of allergic reaction. Zirconia is becoming very popular due to fluctuating gold prices and also the beautiful results that can be produced.
